U.S. is Complicit in the Zionist Regime’s Crimes Against the People of Yemen
WANA (May 07) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baghaei, today expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Omani government and stated: “Despite the announced halt of U.S. attacks on Yemen, the United States remains complicit in the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Yemeni people. The international community must urgently take effective action to stop this regime’s assaults.”
Welcoming the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman regarding developments in the Republic of Yemen and the cessation of U.S. aggression against the country, Baghaei commended Oman’s diplomatic efforts.
He also praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people over the past year in supporting the oppressed Palestinians in the face of genocide and occupation, and in resisting repeated U.S. aggression. He emphasized that the region’s nations will never forget the legendary resistance of the Yemeni people against foreign aggression.
Baghaei further stressed that, despite the declared end of U.S. attacks on Yemen, there is no doubt that the U.S. government is a partner in the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against Yemenis. He called on the international community to swiftly take effective measures to stop the regime’s attacks on Yemen’s civilian infrastructure and the killing of innocent people.
